END OF INDIAN SUMMER: The warmer than normal weather is about to calm to a crashing end. A low pressure system and cold front is expected to move through the state later today and tonight. With it comes a slight chance of a few showers and isolated thunderstorms. Rainfall amounts will likely remain at a quarter inch or less. There is also a slight chance of some rain Wednesday as well with skies beginning to clear later Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Temperatures will be the big storms however, readings that have been in the 60s and lower 70s the last few days will be about 20° cooler than that through the weekend.

HALLOWEEN: Right now, Halloween looks to be okay at this time. Skies will be partly cloudy for Trick O’Treating with readings in the upper 40s to middle 50s during that time with a breeze out of the southwest.

LATER ON: Several storm systems continue to show up as we move ahead into the eleventh month of the year. One just passed the seven day outlook may bring us some precipitation. Another quick moving system around the 5th may bring us some flurry activity and more colder weather. And then we come to the end of the forecast where the big storm coming out of the Southwest has returned. Although not as cold as it was two days ago, it still needs to be monitored at all times in future runs.
