It was a cold start across the state this morning. A few places did drop into the upper teens (Clarion, Battle Creek, Webster City and Sheldon), while most of the rest of the state (outside the far south and southeastern sections) dipped into the 20s. It won’t be as cold tonight with readings falling into the 30s statewide.
