QUICK RAIN: There will be a quick chance of some rainfall late today into Sunday with a system that will move through the state during the overnight hours. The daylight hours both today and Sunday should not be affected by rain (possibly a few morning showers across the east)

COOL SNAPS: The model run does show several cold snaps coming into the state over the next two week period. One will come early this coming week which may bring widespread frost to the state Wednesday morning and possibly again Thursday morning. Highs may struggle to get out of the 40s on Tuesday and Wednesday. Another one is projected to come around next weekend as well, with another chance of widespread frost and freeze conditions, however snow is not anticipated at this time.

HALLOWEEN: Although Halloween is just outside the forecast window, this model run shows that it could be quite chilly for Trick or Treaters on that Monday across the state. We’ll keep looking for possible trends over the next week.
