CONTINUED DRY: The weather pattern will continue to remain dry across the state for the rest of the weekend into the next week. Temperatures will gradually rise as south to southwesterly winds begin early next week ahead of a storm system that moves in next weekend. Highs will climb from the 60s to near 70 today to the 70s to lower 80s by the end of the week (if not slightly warmer)

NEXT STORM: The storm system will move in late Saturday night and stick around through the rest of the weekend. Showers and thunderstorms will be more numerous Sunday into Monday morning. Further into voo-doo, the model wants to show the front stalling nearby keeping slight chances of rain into the middle of the following week. We’ll have to see on that. There will be another storm once more toward the middle of the month with some cooler conditions just to the north of the state.
