WINDY WEATHER: A cold front will be moving through the state early today and with it comes a few clouds but mainly very windy conditions. A Wind Advisory has been issued for the northeastern half of the state where winds could gust as high as 40-50mph.
DRY: That will be the main word over the next week or so as dry weather will settle into the state. The next chance of widespread rain across the state looks to be around next weekend with a storm system coming in out of the west. This will be the first in a possible series of fairly vigorous storms that may come through the Upper Midwest toward the middle of October.
MID OCTOBER ULL?: The model toward the end of the period is suggesting another upper level feature close by once more. If this occurs that will be clouds and rain chances once again, similar to this past week across the eastern half of the state. It’s still way too early at this time to suggest such a feature, we’ll keep watching future runs.
