Few Showers Across Eastern Iowa

Radar at 2:20pm

A few showers have been popping up this afternoon across the eastern counties of the state around the pesky upper level low that continues to spin just to the east. The heaviest showers were along a line extending from Central City to Martelle to west of Stanwood moving SSW around 20-25mph. The showers will move through with some light to moderate rain and a few hundredths to a tenth of an inch or so for about ten to fifteen minutes before departing. Other showers will be possible today and especially tomorrow into Monday across the eastern half of the state.
