A Frost Advisory is in effect across the northern half of the state with far NW and NC Iowa under a Freeze Warning where temperatures may dip into the upper 20s for several hours Thursday morning. This will effectively end the growing season in those areas with frost possible if not likely across areas north of I-80, with patchy frost in favored valley locales to the south. Remember to cover all plants and or bring them indoors.
