DRY TIMES CONTINUE: The weather pattern doesn’t look to be changing anytime soon across the state. There is a wrinkle in the forecast however. The remnants of Lee may swing back in our direction by Friday into Saturday. The model wants to bring an isolated shower, but given the dry atmosphere and low dew points, all we should be is clouds. Temperatures will be in the lower to middle 70s through the rest of the week into the weekend, with temperatures climbing into the upper 70s to near 80 next week.

RAIN NEXT WEEK: Yes there is a chance of rain next week on Tuesday, but the chances are very slight 20-30% at best and not everyone will see rainfall. A cold front will be moving in from the northwest which will usher another shot of cooler drier air to the state.

FURTHER OUT: The pattern becomes benign again past the middle of the month with the storm track near the US Canadian border once more, but at the end of the model run, a large trough will be over the east which will bring more cool air to the state around the First Day of Fall.
