DRY WEEK AHEAD: Cool and dry weather is in store for the rest of the holiday weekend, with slowly warming temps heading into the following weekend. Sunshine with some afternoon clouds is all we’ll likely see through at least next weekend. This may change depending on the progress of Lee and its remnants. Models earlier had a piece of Lee’s remnants possibly bringing an isolated shower toward the end of the week, but this run doesn’t show that, so we’ll leave it dry for now. Some lows Monday and Tuesday morning may drop into the lower 40s especially in the cooler valley locations and if the wind is calm.
FARTHER OUT: Dry weather looks to continue for the rest of the period with the next best chance of rain coming possibly two weeks from now (which may change given the amount of time). The main storm track remains north of the US Canadian border with several possible tropical systems effecting the Gulf Coast (at least according to this run)
