With storms beginning to fire up, The Storm Prediction Center has posted Mesoscale Discussion #2099 talking about the Risk of Severe Weather tonight. Damaging Winds as well as Large Hail will continue to be a threat through Late Evening within a WSW-ENE Corridor across IA. If this continues, A Watch could be neeed.

Several areas of storms have Fired up from Eastern Nebraska into Southwest Iowa this evening…With increasing intensity.
