* AT 609 PM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS DETECTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING PING PONG BALL SIZE HAIL…AND DAMAGING WINDS OF 65 MPH OR HIGHER. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR EMERSON…OR 25 MILES SOUTHWEST OF SIOUX CITY…AND MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE…WINNEBAGO…PENDER…WALTHILL…BANCROFT…MACY…LYONS…DECATUR…THURSTON…THE HIGHWAY 9 AND 51 JUNCTION AND ROSALIE.

THE WARNED AREA INCLUDES HIGHWAY 77 IN NEBRASKA BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 147 AND 169.
