There is a slight risk of severe weather for the rest of the night into early tomorrow morning over the southern half of the state, more or less where last night’s event took place. The main threats will be from large hail and damaging straight line winds. There is already watches out in eastern Nebraska and more will likely be required as those storms move into the western counties of the state in the next few hours.
