The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma has posted Mesoscale Discussion #1873, relating to the Upcoming Severe Weather potential later today. The SPC is currently concerned about Thunderstorm development beginning to Fire Up to the West. If a Watch does get issued, Damaging Winds would be the Primary Threat. Dew Points in the 60’s and 70’s and Temperatures in the Mid to Upper 80’s are providing a Very Unstable Atmosphere, with Little to No cap remaining. Convective Intensification is currently Uncertain, but the SPC and IASWC will continue to provide the latest information.
