More Rain to Dubuque

Another batch of showers and thunderstorms is making its way back to the Tri-States late this morning. Record rainfall has occurred in Dubuque during the last 12 hours with more than 14″ of rain and more to come. Many rivers have risen, creeks are out of their banks, bridges washed out, roads closed. An all out mess in that area. To add, the Mississippi River at Dubuque has risen 4 feet in about 12 hours. There is now a river flood warning for the Mississippi River at Dubuque and Bellevue downstream now, along with the Turkey River at Garber which is expected to go to over 28 feet later today. Remember if you find a flooded road, turn around don’t drown!
