* AT 1147 PM CDT…LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED FLASH FLOODING…ESPECIALLY OVER THE NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE COUNTY. SOME ROADS HAVE ALREADY BEEN CLOSED DUE TO WATER FLOWING OVER THE ROAD.
* LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO SAVANNA…SHANNON…LANARK…SPRINGBROOK…HURSTVILLE…GREEN ISLAND…COTTONVILLE…FULTON AND ANDREW.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL IS EXPECTED OVERNIGHT AS MORE THUNDERSTORMS MOVE OVER THE AREA FROM THE WEST. RAINFALL AMOUNTS IN SOME LOCATIONS ARE ALREADY OVER 3 INCHES…AND COULD EXCEED 4 INCHES BY MORNING.
