RAIN ENDS: The rain chances will cease later today as the storm system moves off to the east. It has brought beneficial rainfall to a good portion of the state, along with some areas getting damage from the severe weather. It will be quiet on Monday with temperatures in the 80s and lower humidities.

RAGBRAI: Ragbrai begins today over in Glenwood in Mills County, they will be making their way to Atlantic in Cass County today. There is a chance of some showers but the better shots will be east of the bike route.

TRIPLE H RETURNING: The return of Hazy, Hot and Humid the weather group known as “TRIPLE H!” It will come back on Tuesday via the warm front express as it moves through the state. The warm front will also be the feeding ground for showers and thunderstorms to develop as well. These will end early Wednesday across the eastern and northeastern counties of the state leaving TRIPLE H to roost for two days (Wednesday and Thursday) A cold front will move in Thursday afternoon and evening bringing an end to a short stay for TRIPLE H. However more heat albeit not as hot as this past week is possible again by late next weekend.
