If MOS data holds out, the heat will really begin to turn up again to end of the month of June on Thursday. Readings across the eastern counties will be near or slightly above seasonal norms with mid 80s to near 90. In the western counties, readings will be soaring into the upper 90s. This with humidity will see heat indices soar well above 100° in many locations. This heat will last into the Independence Day weekend, when some showers and thunderstorms will be possible albeit isolated and likely during the overnight hours.
