* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR…
SOUTHWESTERN WOODBURY COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL IOWA…
EASTERN DAKOTA COUNTY IN NORTHEAST NEBRASKA…

* UNTIL 830 PM CDT

* AT 758 PM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS WERE
TRACKING A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
DESTRUCTIVE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 70 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED
ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM DAKOTA CITY TO HOMER TO WINNEBAGO…AND
MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH. DAMAGING WINDS WITH THESE STORMS COVERED A
LONG STRETCH AND WILL BE PERSISTENT AT SOME PLACES.
