DRY SATURDAY: There will be partial sunshine across the state, more so across the western counties then the east where some clouds may hold on through the afternoon hours. It will be dry however, with highs in the 70s across the state with lower humidities.

ACTIVE WEEK: The dry pattern won’t last with the next storm on the the doorstep late on Sunday with chances of showers and thunderstorms returning at that time. These chances will last through the middle of the week with some heavy rain possible. Given the amount of rain that has occurred, especially in areas south of Interstate 80, flash flooding could be an issue, along with river flooding as well. Severe Weather is also possible during this time.

MO RIVER FLOODING: Flooding continues along the Missouri River, with many locations surpassing the 1993 flood level. The crests will likely remain below the record 1952 flood crest (at least at locations where river gauges have records going back that far)by several feet, but moderate flooding is likely and some more road closures are possible as well. Flooding is likely to last for several weeks after cresting, possibly well into the month of July. Crest should come in the next week or so dependent on output from Gavins Point Dam and anymore precipitation.
