The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch effective until Midnight for the following counties, Adair, Adams, Appanoose, Black Hawk, Bremer, Cass, Clarke, Dallas, Davis, Decatur, Grundy, Guthrie, Jasper, Lucas, Madison, Mahaska, Marion, Marshall, Monroe, Polk, Poweshiek, Ringgold, Story, Tama, Taylor, Union, Wapello, Warren and Wayne. Thunderstorms continue to fire across the central into SW Iowa. Storms will have the capability of large hail and damaging winds as they move to the east. Also some heavy rain is possible as well.
