The Storm Prediction Center in Norman,Oklahoma has issued a Slight Risk For severe thunderstorms across parts of the Upper Midwest in Minnesota and Wisconsin. This includes the entire 6 county area. After morning showers and thunderstorms pass through skies will clear and it will become unstable as a warm front passes and stalls out over the local area. Thunderstorms could develop along this front and if they do they will likely become severe. The main threats will be tornado’s, heavy rain and large hail, as well strong wind gusts. The best chances of severe storms will be around noon or after, and will be in Burnett and Washburn counties.
