It has been a rainy moring across the state. Currently the light to moderate rain has moved of an Omaha to Ames to Dubuque line. South of there, it’s dry and mostly cloudy. Temperatures are very cool with readings in the 50s where rain is falling to the 60s where it’s dry. A few locations in the north may struggle to get to the mid to upper 50s today, while southern Iowa has a few spots touching 70 at 11am. A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect across southern and SE Iowa through tonight for more heavy rain that may develop.
