The latest radar image shows a line of strong to at times severe thunderstorms across the central counties of Iowa into the southern sections. An outflow boundary is beginning to move away from the leading edge of the storms, above the boundary was located from Montezuma to west of Sigourney to Ottumwa, moving east at 40-50mph. As this boundary moves through, expect to see some gusty winds up to 40-50mph. It may be several minutes after this boundary moves through before any rain begins.
