The latest severe weather outlook shows an enhanced area of possible severe hail across the western sections of the state. A new severe weather watch could be issued within a few hours across this area for that reason.

There is also a slight risk of severe weather for Sunday across the eastern half of the state. Large hail and damaging winds will be the main threats with any activity that develops. An isolated tornado is possible but very slight. Rain amounts will be substantial with an inch or two possible across the entire state by Monday morning as this system slowly moves through the state.
