FROSTY: It will be cool during the morning hours through Tuesday with readings dropping into the 30s. A frost advisory is in effect this morning across the north and another advisory could be required again Monday night into Tuesday morning as well.

STORMY: It will be quiet over the next few days, but the next storm will move in later on Thursday lasting into the weekend with several chances of showers and thunderstorms. It’s too early to determine if there will be severe weather with this storm, but some heavy rain is possible given the QPF chart of 2+ inches across Nebraska over the next 5 days. We’ll have to wait and see if this comes into Iowa as well.

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND: The holiday weekend is still way out in the model run and it continues to show half the weekend looking good and the other half looking wet and stormy. At this time, Saturday and the first half of Sunday looks to be quiet and dry with chances of rain increasing from west to east Sunday afternoon into Monday. However, the next model run may show a different story, we’ll have to wait on this one as well.

SUMMER: Summer videos will be returning later this month, with weekly forecasts. These will be included in the forecast videos on Mondays beginning in two weeks.
