COOL AND WET: Severe Weather risks are now out of the state for the next week, however the showery weather will be here to stay through the weekend, along with that will come some much cooler conditions, at least much cooler than it has been lately, temperatures will be near seasonal averages if not slightly below them. Not everyone will see rain everyday, nor will it be an all day rain. But severe weather is not expected with any storms over the next three days outside of some possible small hail.

SUNNY START: The work week next week will start with mostly sunny skies Monday through Wednesday with readings near average although Monday and Tuesday morning will be cool with readings in the 30s and 40s (Monday will be the coolest morning if skies are clear) The next storm will overspread a few clouds into the state Thursday however most of the state should remain dry, outside of the far SW counties which could see a shower both Thursday and Friday.

NEXT STORM: Late Friday night (of next week) into the following weekend will be the next best chance of severe weather across the state. The pattern looks to get active after this with another possible system at mid week (May 25th), but this could change on the next model run. Temperatures will warm back to summer weather again as we near meteorological summer on June 1st.
