* AT 1005 PM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS DETECTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING PING PONG BALL SIZE HAIL. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR GRETNA…OR 13 MILES SOUTHWEST OF OMAHA…AND MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH. THIS STORM PRODUCED QUARTER SIZE HAIL NEAR GRETNA AT 1005 PM.
* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE…OMAHA…SPRINGFIELD…MILLARD…PAPILLION…LA VISTA…RALSTON…BELLEVUE…COUNCIL BLUFFS…OFFUTT AFB…CHALCO…BOYS TOWN…BENNINGTON…LAKE MANAWA STATE PARK AND CARTER LAKE.
THE WARNED AREA INCLUDES INTERSTATE 80 IN NEBRASKA BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 432 AND 454.
