SEVERE WEATHER: There is a slight risk of severe weather for today and tonight across the southwestern quarter of the state. Heavy rain will be possible as well with several storms yesterday producing flash flooding.

Cool temperatures will be around as well with highs likely in the 60s through Sunday. Early next week, the skies will clear and temps will rebound back into the 70s, which is near the climatic average for Mid May.
