The Storm Prediction Center has issued a TORNADO Watch effective until 7pm for the following counties, Adair, Adams, Appanoose, Audubon, Boone, Carroll, Cass, Clarke, Crawford, Dallas, Davis, Decatur, Fremont, Greene, Guthrie, Harrison, Jasper, Lucas, Madison, Mahaska, Marion, Marshall, Mills, Monona, Monroe, Montgomery, Page, Polk, Pottawattamie, Poweshiek, Ringgold, Shelby, Story, Tama, Taylor, Union, Wapello, Warren and Wayne. Thunderstorms over southwestern Iowa into SE Nebraska will continue to move NE through the state through the evening hours. Along with the threat of tornadoes, large hail and damaging winds will be threats as well. Some of the thunderstorms have trained over the same areas, thus flash flooding could be possible if you get more than one thunderstorm in a quick period.
