NORTHERN RINGGOLD COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL IOWA…
EASTERN TAYLOR COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST IOWA…
UNION COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL IOWA…

* AT 528 PM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE
HAIL…AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE
LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM CRESTON TO 7 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
LENOX TO 12 MILES SOUTH OF LENOX…AND MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.

BUILDING.

A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO WARNING. IF A
TORNADO IS SPOTTED…IMMEDIATELY MOVE TO THE BASEMENT OR SMALL
INTERIOR ROOM OF A REINFORCED BUILDING.
