A number of locations across the state have set record highs for the date. Here are the ones listed so far.

Des Moines: 95°The old record was 90 degrees in 1911
Waterloo: 93° The old record was 90 degrees in 1911
Ottumwa: 92° The old record was 89 degrees in 1934
Mason City: 94° The old record was 89 degrees in 1987
Lamoni: 91° The old record was 86 degrees in 1911
Burlington: 92° The old record was 88 degrees in 1956
Omaha NE: 97° The old record was 93 degrees in 1962
Moline IL: 93° The old record was 89 degrees in 1911
Sioux City: 95° The old record was 90 degrees in 1987
Spencer: 95° The old record was 93 degrees in 1987
Storm Lake: 95° The old record was 87 degrees in 1987, 1963 and 1911
Sioux Center: 94° The old record was 92 degrees in 1987

Des Moines also set a record high minimum temperature on Tuesday with a low of 71. This broke the old Record high low of 68 set in 1922.
