BOUTS OF RAIN: The storm will be departing today with cooler conditions remaining over the state. There could be a few snowflakes mixed in with any precipitation during the morning hours. The next bout of rain will move back into the state Monday across the western counties and Monday night and Tuesday elsewhere. Precipitation could be heavy with this storm system, but amounts should remain under an inch with many places likely seeing around a half inch. Again there may be enough cold air Wednesday morning that a snowflake could be possible as well. (According to this run)

LATE WEEK BOUT OF RAIN: The third storm system will come right on the heels of the second one on Thursday with another low following a similiar path to the preceding storm. Rain will break out late Thursday across the west with most of the state getting precipitation on Friday (similiar to yesterday), and as with the storm that is currently exiting the state, there could be a snowflake or two mixed in behind this storm system as well.

FLOODING: River flooding continues along the Big Sioux, West Fork Des Moines River, the Little Sioux River at Spencer and the Mississippi Rivers. A new update on the Mississippi River flooding will be coming later today.
