BELOW AVG: Get Ready for several days, possibly a week of below average temperatures. Typically highs are in the upper 40s to mid 50s across the state this time of year, but over the next few days highs will be between 6-12° below that with lows in the 20s and lower 30s (with a few upper teens possible as well).

SNOW?: There is a chance of a few light rain or snow showers Friday into Saturday with a system skirting the state to the south. Any possible accumulations will be across the far southern and southwestern counties where the QPF paints about a tenth to a quarter inch of liquid over the next five days (mainly from this weekend’s storm)

FLOODING: River flooding continues across the northern counties of the state, with new river flood warnings along the Mississippi River down as far as Burlington. This will be an ongoing situation for the rest of March into the early days of April.
