Spring Arrival

Although the official arrival of Spring isn’t until Sunday, temperatures this afternoon are more apparent of spring with readings in the upper 50s to the lower 70s. The warmest reading at 3pm was 72° at Council Bluffs with Red Oak right behind at 70°. Continued springlike air will last through the rest of the week into the weekend with chances of showers and isolated thunderstorms. Some storms tomorrow across the southern and southeastern counties of the state may have some small hail in them but aren’t expected to become severe.
