A wide range in temperatures will be apparent by Thursday with readings ranging between the upper 40s over southern Minnesota to the lower 70s in southwest Iowa into southeastern Nebraska. There will be a chance of some showers and thunderstorms across the state as a front will be dangling across the state between two low pressures, one to the northeast and one to the southwest. Severe weather is not expected with any thunderstorms that may fire and heavy rain is not expected either.

There will be more chances of showers and thunderstorms this upcoming weekend into the following week as well.
