NOTE: The Winter Weather Advisory on the video was scaled back right after production

WINTRY THURSDAY?: The state will be in for a few quiet until Thursday when another storm system will move across the state with another round of wintry precipitation possible at that time. It may begin initally as a mix of freezing rain/sleet and snow switching to rain over the southern counties, while the northern counties stay with a mix. The precipitation will be ending by the midday hours of Friday. Amounts are expected to be light with many locations receiving less than a quarter inch of liquid precip during this storm.

ACTIVE LION: March will be coming in like a lamb on Tuesday, but looking further into the month, storms will be roaring into the state, with possible chances of some snow, rain and some thunderstorms too with several systems through the middle of the month. Remember, the state had a tornado outbreak on March 13, 1990 and we could also have another blizzard as well. March begins Meteorological Spring, with the Spring equinox coming March 20th.
