More and more rivers are starting to get a problem with ice jams on them. A Flash flood warning is in effect through the early evening hours along the Cedar River north of Vinton due to one, with many other river having experienced some over the past few days. This will continue for at least the next week with rapid rises possible in areas upstream from any jam. Cooler temperatures this week will help slow the process down.
