More snow chances are on the way once more, but nothing like the blizzard that went through earlier this week. A clipper system will sweep into the state from the northwest Saturday into Sunday with a few snow showers. Accumulations will be light (around 1-2″) with the heaviest amounts north and east. Temperatures will warm ahead of the storm and readings could reach the freezing mark or above in western Iowa where the precipitation could be in the form of rain. Bitter cold returns next week with highs in the single digits and lower teens and lows well below zero once again.
