Here are the latest watches, warnings and advisories. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the northern sections of the state, with a Winter Storm Watch effective in the southern counties of the state. A list of which counties are under what until when follows.
Winter Weather Advisory:
Midnight Monday morning until 6pm Tuesday evening for Cerro Gordo, Emmet, Hancock, Kossuth, Palo Alto, Winnebago, Worth, Dickinson and Osceola counties.
6am Monday morning until 6pm Tuesday evening for Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Ida, Lyon, OBrien, Plymouth, Sioux and Woodbury.
6am Monday morning until 6am Wednesday morning for Humboldt, Pocahontas, Wright, Black Hawk, Boone, Bremer, Butler, Calhoun, Carroll, Crawford, Franklin, Greene, Grundy, Hamilton, Hardin, Sac, Story and Webster.
Midnight Monday morning until 6am Tuesday morning for Allamakee, Chickasaw, Floyd, Howard, Mitchell and Winneshiek.
6am Monday morning until 6am Tuesday morning for Fayette and Clayton.

6pm Monday evening until 6am Wednesday morning for Adair, Adams, Appanoose, Audubon, Cass, Clarke, Dallas, Davis, Decatur, Guthrie, Jasper, Lucas, Madison, Mahaska, Marion, Marshall, Monroe, Polk, Poweshiek, Ringgold, Tama, Taylor, Union, Wapello, Warren and Wayne.
Noon Tuesday afternoon until 6pm Wednesday evening for Benton, Buchanan, Cedar, Clinton, Delaware, Des Moines, Dubuque, Henry, Iowa, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Jones, Keokuk, Lee, Linn, Louisa, Muscatine, Scott, Van Buren and Washington.
Noon Monday until Midnight Wednesday morning for Harrison, Pottawattamie, Shelby, Fremont, Mills, Montgomery and Page.
Several rounds of snow will be effecting the state between late tonight and Wednesday evening, with varied totals. The heaviest amounts will be in the southern and southeastern counties of the state with the Tuesday and Wednesday storm system, which may drop as much as a foot of snow across far SE Iowa, with 4-10” possible anywhere else (as a full total Mon-Wed). Along with the moderate to heavy snow, blowing and drifting snow is a possibility across the state with some near-blizzard conditions possible. More on this storm later today.
