The National Weather Service in Omaha issued a Winter Storm Watch effective at Noon Saturday and lasting until Noon Sunday for Fremont, Harrison, Mills, Monona, Montgomery, Page, Pottawattamie and Shelby counties. Snowfall accumulations in these areas may reach 3-5 inches with the highest amounts along the Missouri River Valley. Snow will taper in the morning hours of Sunday as the storm moves to the SE of the area.
