After a few model runs which showed that the cold air that would come into the state in the middle of next week wasn’t going to be as bad, the last few model runs have brought it back with a vengeance. Lows by Wednesday morning next week (seen above) could be well below zero across the entire state, with some areas seeing readings in the teens and even 20s below zero (especially in the colder valley locations). Prior to this cold blast reaching the state, another storm system will traverse the state bringing chances of accumulating snow beginning Sunday and going through Tuesday. Some of the snow could be heavy, but amounts are too early to determine at this time. Advisories and or watches could be hoisted as early as tomorrow morning for this storm.
