Clear skies and light winds along with a fresh snow pack will lead to very cold temperatures tonight. Readings will drop below zero across most of the state tonight with some places seeing double digits below zero temps. Without any wind, wind chills will be not be an issue tonight and tomorrow morning.
The storm that’s been talked about on here for a few days will make its move later on Sunday and last through Tuesday. The models still put the heaviest snow across the western sections of the state as before with roughly the same amounts as discussed. Another post on that will be forthcoming this evening.
More bitter cold will filter into the state by next weekend as well with readings dropping below zero once again, so the cold is here to stay for awhile.
