A possible large storm system is expected to be very close to the state late this weekend. There is a chance of some accumulating snow with this system, with the heaviest accumulations right now looking to be setting up south and southwest of the state at this time. However, some minor accumulations across the state may be possible with areas south and west of Des Moines seeing the heaviest amounts.
