Fog is beginning to form once again across the eastern counties of the state. With that the National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a Dense Fog Advisory which will be in effect until 10am Wednesday for Buchanan, Delaware, Dubuque, Benton, Linn, Jones, Jackson, Johnson, Cedar, Clinton, Muscatine and Scott. Visibilities may be reduced to below a quarter mile. With temperatures well below freezing, some elevated surfaces (bridges and overpasses) may also see a thin glaze of ice. The fog will begin to burn off by mid-morning.

This advisory may be expanded later in the night depending on how widespread the fog gets tonight.
