Snow continues to fall across the state. A Winter Storm warning is in effect through the afternoon and evening hours across the northern and eastern counties for heavier snow totals that have already exceeded 6-8″ in some locations. Travel has been impacted with this snow. Roads are mostly or completely covered across the northeastern 3/4ths of the state, with travel not being advised on I-35 near Mason City. Snow will taper off to flurries tonight in time fo Santa to make his journey. More accumulations are possible.
