As the latest storm moves out of the state, we turn our attention to the next one that is expected to move into the area on Thursday into Christmas eve. It is too early to determine where the heaviest snow will be even 48 hours in advance. This is due to the wide ranging model runs that have put the heaviest snow bands in different places on different models even on the same run. The best estimate is however that sizeable snow accumulations will be possible whereever they happen to fall. It will be more apparent later tonight or early tomorrow morning where it should set up.

This will likely cause some travel difficulties Christmas eve and possibly even early on Christmas day.
