More Snow to Begin Week

Advisories through Tuesday AM

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory that goes into effect Monday morning and will last until Tuesday morning for the far northern and northeastern sections of the state. This will be where the heaviest snow will fall from this latest system to move through the state. The latest indications show that a swath of 2-5″ of snow will be possible in the advisory area, with lighter amounts to the south. There is also a chance of some mix precipitation in the southern sections of the state where temperatures may climb to near freezing. Travel will likely be impacted especially for those that will be travelling north into Minnesota or Wisconsin where heavier snows are expected.
