The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory which goes from Noon today until 6am Thursday morning for the following counties, Black Hawk, Bremer, Butler, Cerro Gordo, Franklin, Grundy, Hancock, Hardin, Kossuth, Tama, Winnebago, Worth, Wright, Allamakee, Chickasaw, Clayton, Fayette, Floyd, Howard, Mitchell, Winneshiek, Benton, Buchanan, Cedar, Clinton, Delaware, Dubuque, Jackson, Johnson, Jones, Linn, Muscatine and Scott.

Snow will move into the state later today and become moderate at times late this afternoon into the evening hours. Total accumulations from this storm will be anywhere between 2-5″ with some locations receiving up to 6 or more inches. This will be a light fluffy snow and may cause some travel difficulties later today and tonight.
