Latest Radar Image of Blizzard

The image above is of the NWS Doppler Radar about ten minutes ago. It shows a large swath of heavy wet snow across the eastern and northern counties, with lighter fluffy snow to the north and NW, which is blowing around. The low pressure center is north of Ames currently and continues to deepen (under 1000mb now). It will be east of the state later this evening bringing blizzard conditions to the eastern counties of the state that have yet to experience them.
