The latest model run is in and the snow amounts for the weekend storm continue to decrease across the state. The heaviest amounts have continued to move further north into Minnesota and Wisconsin, with the heaviest accumulations in Iowa now being 3-5″ near the border with Minnesota, with lesser amounts farther to the south. With the snow amounts decreasing, the chances of possible rain/snow mix or freezing rain continue to increase. More will be known Friday as the storm draws closer to the state.
